I need a little jump start with ME IDE… Does anyone have a sample application I can look at that would help me understand how to build a simple app that would gather a couple of data fields (name, address, city, state, zip) input from the phone screen then populate an email? I want to leverage the native capabilities of the iphone/ipad email engine.

I’m not sure what tools to use… I work best by examples that I can visualize.

MyEclipse supports PhoneGap application development. I suggest you search for sample phonegap apps or tutorials that provide what you’re looking for.
