falloffalotMemberJust updated to 2.6.2 and now I get a Mobile Web simulator Error when trying to test my app!
All help appreciated.
support-octavioMemberHi falloffalot,
Please try deleting the Mobile Web Simulator profile from temp folder? See instructions here: http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?p=24830#p24830
falloffalotMemberThanks for the help but,
I only have 2 folders at this location;
Mobione (empty) & mobione_temp_files I don’t have anything with for the websimulator!
support-octavioMemberHi falloffalot,
Please share your log file so we can take a look and find what the problem is. Log file is located at <user-home>/.mobione/runtime/.metadata/.log
Also, please find Chrome executable on disk and send us a path to it
falloffalotMemberHi, I think this is what you need?

falloffalotMemberAny joy guys?
support-octavioMemberHi falloffalot,
Thanks for sharing the log file with us.
1) Are you able to launch the basic simulator. See this screenshot?
It was not clear if you were having an issue with it.
See attachment IMG_26032014_144954.png
2) If #1 is yes then try resetting the Target Design (the combo widget on the toolbar) to a valid design file (.mobi file) or to the <Current .mobi Editor> setting.
See attachment IMG_26032014_150055.png
The Target Design specifies the default .mobi design file context for the app build and Run Target Design in Mobile Web Simulator actions.Attachments:

falloffalotMemberHi, no i am unable to run any Simulator within MobiOne
when I try I keep getting the “General simulator launch error: Unable to start process”
support-octavioMemberHi falloffalot,
A few more questions. Let’s take a step back and confirm that the chrome browser is installed and configured correctly.1) What is the path you have configured to the chrome.exe? See it on Window Menu > Settings > Mobile Web Simulator:
See attachment sim-chrome.png2) Is the path valid? Can you manually launch chrome from this path?
You should be able to copy/paste it into a cmd shell and chrome will launch.Attachments:

falloffalotMemberAh…this may be the problem.
Chrome.exe is no where to be found in Google\Chrome>dir
I had trouble with Chrome a few weeks ago and had to add the prefix .exe as it wouldn’t open otherwise.
falloffalotMemberUpdate: Re-installed Google Chrome.
It now opens within the CMD Prompt but MobiOne simulator still wont open.
The Chrome program location within MobiOne Settings is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
support-octavioMemberHi falloffalot,
Please uninstall your current Mobione version and and delete your .log file. Then install and run this dev1 version: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26766004/MobiOne_2.6.3.dev1_Installer.exe
We made 1 change that we are not sure if it will improve your situation. We also added some additional logging. If the simulator will not launch in this version then please upload the .log file for us to further analyze.
falloffalotMemberThanks for the assist chaps
Reloaded as recommended and all appears to be working again.
Was a little worried, that I would loose my licence and saves but, nope still got um.Yay
Thanks again guys
falloffalotMemberOh dear…here we go again.
It appears that each time I reboot the same thing happens, I’m getting the same error and can’t use the Sim again!
