Hello,
when I create a native app
without inserting icons
the file of the app has a size of 2 mb

when I insert the icons
with the dimensions shown
the file of the app increases up to 14 mb
Why?

Your icon’s are 12 meg. PNG’s can be heavy on file size. If you have access to photoshop try optimising them for web and make sure you have no transparencies as that makes for large file sizes.

If you don’t have Photoshop you can try Gimp which is free or Paintshop pro which is very good for the price.

Also some of us use free online image optimization services. Do a google search to find some of the popular sites such as:

You are probably using 32 bit png files, you need to export them as 24 bit png, no transparencies as Paul said, hopefully that will decrease your 14mb to about 6mb.
