I’ve been using MyEclipse 9.0 since either Milestone 1 or 2. When the GA version was released, I used the configuration center to upgrade. Over time, the app seemed to be starting up more and more slowly (>30 seconds before being prompted to choose a workspace). Today, after starting up with the -clean argument and not seeing any improvement, I tried downloading and installing a fresh copy of 9.0GA (via Pulse, but that shouldn’t make any difference). I was thrilled to discover that the start-up had dropped to just a few seconds! I think at this point, it starts up faster for me than v8.6 did.
I hope this helps other v9.0 early adopters.
