I have recently upgrade from 8.5 to 8.6 and every time I restarted MyEclipse I would have to remove, apply, and re-add some MyEclipse libraries to my build path. To fix this I assumed that a complete uninstall and reinstall of MyEclipse would solve the problem, so I reinstalled.

After reinstalling 8.6 I had the same problem, but now I could not get the JAR files into my build path by adding the MyEclipse libraries.

I am having problems with the following libraries:
    Spring 3.0 Core Libraries
    Spring 3.0 Persistence Core Libraries
    Struts 2 Core Libraries
    Struts 2 Spring Libraries

Thank you for your assistance on fixing this issue.

    blodgett.donald,
Sorry for the inconvenience. Can you give us some more information on this?
    1. Can you list out the jar files that you are having trouble with?
2 Are there any relevant errors logged in the log file located at workspace dir > .metadata > .log when the IDE starts? Please clear the log file, save it and then restart your IDE to get the relevant errors.
    3. If you do “Restore Defaults” from Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Project Capabilities > Spring > Spring 3.0 tab > spring 3.0 core libraries > Restore Defaults, does the issue persist?

I have uninstalled MyEclipse and reinstalled, then created a new workspace and imported my projects to that workspace. All appears to be working correctly now.
