    Hi,
I have been using MobiOne for several weeks now. (using XP on a PC. Just upgraded to MobiOne Version 2.2)

I am trying to build a mobile version of my website. (not an App… just a html website.)

I am so frustrated that I cannot appear to do some simple things… for example… have a text box that allows me to include things like different fonts, pictures, links, etc. all within the same box.

If I want to include some text like… “please do not do silly things” including the underlining, I cannot do it.

Yes, I could put in an HTML box, and include that. But thats not the point. Why should I have to go into one piece of software to generate some HTML, and then export it, then go back to MobiOne and then paste it to the HTML box… AND THEN, when it doesn’t work because I made a mistake in the HTML repeat the process over and over.

I cant believe that this is not possible to do with MobiOne. It is a great piece of software for building menus. But thats about all it can do – it seems to me.

    Thanks,
    Philip.

ps. It may also be great for building Apps too – but I havent tried that yet.

MobiOne is a work in progress and we continue to introduce new design widgets and other features as quickly as possible. So I interpret your feedback as a feature request for a rich text editor. 🙂

Hmm! Your critique for lack of arbitrary flow layout of images, text and anything else is valid. But mobione is awesome for many laying out great looking UI. It may not work exactly as you wish and we will work toward improving usability but saying it is only good for menus is not true.

Hi Wayne, Ok thats fair comment. I havent used a fraction of the things on there so it was unfair of me to criticise it in that way. My frustration was born out of my expectations for the software and a result of many hours freaking around trying to understand what things … (which is not your fault)

    All the best,
    Philip
