    Hi,

we are using jsf with the org.springframework.web.jsf.el.SpringBeanFacesELResolver defined in the faces-config.xml.

The JSF editor is able to provide suggestions for beans which are defined in the faces-config.xml.

How Is it possible to enable lookups for spring beans as well?

    Kind regards

    clavis_uhe,

I am afraid, your issue is not clear to me. You mention that JSF editor shows content assist is available for beans defined in the faces-config.xml Next you would like to enable look up for spring beans? Could you attach your JSF / sample project and also attach a screenshot to help me get a visual of what is currently available and what do you wish to achieve?

    Hi joy,

http://www.myeclipseide.com/htmlpages-func-display-pid-14.html shows “JSF EL Code assist”. Scroll down to “Source View” and check the screenshot. In the “menu” is shows create, createSetup, etc.. Unfortunately it only shows beans that are configured in the faces-config.xml.

When one is creating a Spring bean XML configuration there is such a code assistant within this xml as well for already defined spring beans.

I would like the JSF one to show the spring beans as well.

    Kind regards
    clavis_uhe
