When generating hibernate support from database explorer I want to generata spring dao as well. However this option is disabled and JNDI dao is the only selectable option. What do I need to do to make spring dao generation possible?

You have to add spring capabilities in project (right click on project – MyEclipse – Add Spring capabilities)

I did add Spring and Hibernate capabilities to the project but it still disabled. MyEclipse 5.0 GA1

It’s resolved. I had more than one project opended in eclipse. Only after I closed all projects except the one I’m working on
it started working.

I’m glad it’s working now, but having only the desired spring/hibernate project open is not a requirement for the Spring DAO generation to be enabled.
Can you reopen all the other projects and see if it works now? Are there any errors logged? [URL=http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-393.html]Posting Guidelines[/URL] has a few questions that should help us track down your problem.
