I am using MyEclipse 8.6.1 for Spring. I have the Spring Security 3.0 libraries added. My java code is able to find the libraries and resolve at compile time. A separate environment is able to build and deploy. The problem ONLY exists inthe xml validation steps for the mvc-config.xml file when it references security and in the security-config.xml file. This does not happen for all of the MyEclipse users sharing the same SVN repository. (about 50% of the users have this issue). Any suggestions?

I believe that there is a benign validation error in this case because the schema that is being used for the Spring context files is different than the schema that was shipped with this version of MyEclipse. So if you are getting an xml validation exception, it is likely this problem.

Others in your group may have their validation setting changed to not validate xml, etc.

    Hope that helps,
    Jack
