Do you perhaps not have an active connection selected in the drop down list at the top of the SQLEditor (“Connected to ….”)? This should cause both Cntl-F9 and the runner icon to be deactivated. Alternately, do you maybe have Cntl-F9 keys already mapped in Eclipse to some other action?
The SQL Editor only execute SQL code with the Execute Button. The CTRL-F9 key have no effect.

I also can’t use Shift F9 (Mac OS Tiger) but I also don’t see any execute icon to click?? The icons are all missing? I have selected an active connection from which I can see tables etc.
