My user is not able to see various options available at the top of a saved sql file after reopening it. The options are displayed for a new SQL File. The new SQL File is generated by selecting File->New SQL File. There are no errors in the .log file of the workspace. Please assist.

The options at the top of a SQL file are run (a running man button), save (floppy disk), open (a open file folder), erase (an eraser), and a drop down list of connections.

    Tanya,

You have probably opened sql file with another editor (non SQL Editor).Could you try open file with right-click>Open With>MyEclipse SQL Editor.
You can change file associtions using Window>Preferences>General>Editor>File Associations.

I suppose that your user have installed other DB plugins (for example eclipse datatools or similar) and this plugin redefine default editor for sql files

    Regards,
