I have recently switched out my hard drives and reinstalled MyEclipse and am disapointed to find that neither the text or xml editor came with the download. I use these 2 apps a lot when viewing files outside the scope of my workspace… such as compiled JSP pages, deployed xml files and the like. Where can I get these? I’d rather not use JEdit as a text editor.

    Thanks,
    -Robert

    Robert,

You mention that you have switched out your hard drives. Have you also changed the location of MyEclipse installation folder? If yes, can you edit .pulse2.locator file located in your [User-Home] directory to point to the correct path. Typically in windows system this is located at C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\.pulse2.locator. Have you modified anything else? Can you perform a -clean. Please refer – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshoot-using-the-clean-command-line-argument/. Let me know how this works for you.
