    Hi,
I’m using my subscribed to version on myeclipse on a client. I’m hoping to get myeclipe adopted as the ide of choice (over IntelliJ, for which they already have a license). I am just installing MyEclipse on a coleagues machine and copied my workspace into his eclipse folder. Now, I’m getting a pop up warning me about needing to upgrade my license. How do I remove my subscription code from my colleague’s copy so that he can use a ‘trial copy’ until I persuade the client to fork out for more licenses?
    Thanks

ahhh, after shutting down MyEclipse and restarting it let me remove my subscription info. When I looked when I first got the message loads of preferences had been disabled. A cunning ploy 🙂

Copying the workspace copied your preferences which copied your subscription key. This inadvertently caused two different users to be using the same key, which isn’t permitted. The easiest fix is to simply go into the preferences on you colleague’s machine and blank out the subscription info at Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Subscription. This will prevent any future problems you may have while he’s trying out the software.
