    Hi,
I’m trying to pick tools for my new Web project and one of the requirements is to have a good JSP/JavaScript debugging. Web2.0 workbench and features look great, however, it seems like in order to get all the good stuff (DOM inspection, AJAX request monitor, JavaScript source browsing, etc.) I would have to use the MyEclipse Web2.0 browser. Nothing wrong with that, but, unfortunately, web stuff tends to work differently in different browsers and my JavaScript might work fine in Firefox but break in IE – and that’s when I need the debugger and all the goodies.

Is it possible to use other browsers with the Web2.0 workbench?

    Thanks,
    Marina

    Marina,
Not at this time. The Web2.0 browser is a custom version of the Mozilla browser base that allows for all that custom tooling.

    Thanks, Riyad,

Just curios, are there any plans to add this support in the future? And if so – what time frame are we looking at, roughly?

    thanks!

    Marina,
Not at this time due to the complexity. But I’ve said that before, and then the development team made me eat my words 🙁
