First of all, I just checked out a the features in 4.0. My, my, you’ve been working hard. Nice.

Now to the issue, as far as I know many Eclipse developers update Eclipse itself and its plugins from within Eclipse (using Help -> Software updates).

This is a _very_ convenient way to do upgrades and even if more and more plugins seem to see the advantages not all make use of it, e.g. MyEclipse.

Supporting this is of the essence for our development team.

For my development team and others I would therefore strongly suggest, and ask, for you to considering this feature as soon as possible.

It’s already in place for the 4.0 milestones. I’ve tried it.
