    Hi guys

I know this sounds stupid, but I need to know whether there is any version i could use to set up version 3.x of tomcat.
the problem is that i have a webapp that only runs on that version of tomcat, and i need to do some new development.
later versions of myeclipse only supports 4.x and 5.x.
when a try to set up a tomcat 3.1 directory into either of the above mentioned settings, i got an error saying that “value must be an existing directory”

    my current setting is:
    eclipse 3.2
    myeclipse 5.0 M1
    JDK 1.5

    thanks for any feedback

Unfortunately no, but you have a few choices.

    1) Launch Tomcat externally and use a “Custom Location” deployment to handle deploying your project to Tomcat 3.
    2) Check and see if the Sysdeo Tomcat plugin supports version 3 and just use that to supplement MyEclipse’s management of Tomcat.
