You mentioned that ME only switches to my debug perspective if that is what I have set as my “default”… I don’t quite understand this.

In the Prefs->Debug or Prefs->Java->Debug option windows I cannot change any settings as far as default perspective for debug launch. This option seems to be tied to the individual run-types under the Run or Debug menus (Applet, App, Junit, etc.).

Does ME key off of one of those profiles to determine if it should switch or not? This isn’t terribly clear.. so maybe this could be added to the Launch config portion of the Application Server screen?

Riyad,

I know what you mean. This used to be a default setting in the workbench in an earlier version. The enhancement is the way to go.
