if I use a comment like

The syntax highlighting is spoilt for the rest of the document.
it happens with EclipseM4 and the according MyEclipse version.

This is a known issue for which a service patch is being prepared. We hope to release the patch in the next few days. Others have reported similar issue at https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/jsp-editor-loses-syntax-coloring/
