Problem:
I can’t get TODOs to show up in the Task Pane.

Previous Research:
I have adjusted the global Validation setting
I have adjusted the project Validator setting
I have checked the filter on the pane.
I have examined the .settings/.jsdtscope dopcument
I have updated all plug-ins and installed software
I have “built” my javascript project

Environment:
Eclipse IDE for JavaScript and Web Developers
Version: 2019-06 (4.12.0)
Build id: 20190614-1200
OS: Mac OS X, v.10.14.6, x86_64 / cocoa
Java version: 12.0.1
Node.js v12.4.0

Other Info:
I have been able to see HTML and Java “TODOs’ when I turn those on. I have not been able to see TODOs (or any task tags for that matter) in Javascript files.

I have done my best to examine all the responses pertaining to this issue but am still unable to solve it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m afraid this is something on our own TODO list, which we haven’t gotten around to yet – sorry about that. I’m going to add your request to the tracker we already have against this capability, and we’ll let you know as soon as there’s an update on the issue.
