When editing Xtend files that contain template text, the background color is inconsistent and sometimes makes the template text illegible. Attached is a side by side image showing Fresh Light and Darkest Dark for the same Xtend source code.
Note the unreadable text in the first method on the right side. If you edit the template text, the incorrect background may ‘jump’ to another piece of template text in the same file.

Thanks for raising this issue. I’ve been able to replicate it and have opened a bug for development. We’ll keep you posted about a fix.

The fix for this problem has been implemented and will be in our next release. However, you can get the fix now by switching to our pre-release stream. You can move to the pre-release stream by following the instructions in this topic.
