When trying to add a new terminal+ view it does not open and eclipse logs this error.

Terminal Plus view cannot be created.

Any suggestions?

Can you please reach us via Live Chat to quickly diagnose the problem? Go to Help > CodeMix > Live Chat to initiate a chat session with us.

If you cannot get into a chat session right now, then please share with us the workspace log file which is located at workspace dir/.metadata/.log ( change the extension to .txt and attach it here) along with the below details :

1. Is this a new install of CodeMix?
2. How exactly are you trying to add a new Terminal+ view?
3. If possible, please also share a screenshot of the IDE to help us get a visual.

I have been using this version for a few months now without any issues. The error started just two days ago

Hey,

Thanks for the Screenshots! Those do help although, it will be easier to diagnose the problem if we could also take a look on the workspace log. Could you please share it. Usually located at ${workspace_dir}/.metadata/.log Alternatively you can also start a Live Chat session from inside your CodeMix install.

Update :

The issue is resolved via Live Chat session. The Terminal+ view is fixed by opening a new window session from Window > New Window.
