I just installed the 6.0 release on OS X 10.4.10. But it is always pinned to the top menu bar. I HATE this. Why would you do this? If I cannot move it on the desktop to my liking, I will cancel/not renew my subscription.

Can you explain the problem? Is my understanding that you cannot move ME application window correct? I don’t have such problem and haven’t heard of such problem before.
Have you seen this problem with other ME versions? Do you see the same behavior in any other applications? Did you install any 3rd party software that modifies the OS UI?

You understand correctly. I did a fresh install of MyEclipseIDE on a fresh unzip of The latest Eclipse. But I think the problem is that the GUI is under the top Apple menu bar and so I cannot access the top bar to move Eclipse. How does one fix this?

    I can’t reproduce your problem.
Have you seen this problem with other MyEclipse versions or other Eclipse-based products?
    What is your screen resolution?
