    Hi,
I’m using Eclipse 2.1.2, JDK 1.4.2_02, Tomcat 5.0.16, and the 2.6.4 version of MyEclipse.

Jsp’s redeploy themselves just fine after they are edited with no redeploying of the project. Changing class files, such as custom tags, requires that I stop Tomcat, redeploy the project and then re-start Tomcat.

I don’t think this is the intended behavior. I think things were redeploying automatically just fine when I was using JBoss, although that was a while ago.

I have noticed similar behavior on Red Hat Linux 9 as well.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
    Derek

Never mind. Setting Tomcat to start in debug mode, rather than run mode, seems to do it.
