HI
I re-installed 8.5 M1 on Linux. First I couldn’t get the Subclipse plugin working with the normal JavaHL adapter. It now works but with SVNKit.
Now, I installed Mylyn but omitted a few possible connectors. However, I DID choose the trac one which is what I needed. Now, I go to task repositories but there are no connectors showing. When I try to install one, I get an error message saying “Unable to launch connector install since the required p2 plugins are not available. Please contact your software vendor to correct this problem.” So here I am, what can I do ?
A few other questions –
1. How can I use this new software manager to view and re-install sub-components that we could with the old style software installer ? In this system, it just tells me that Mylyn is installed but I can’t see what is in that installation. Ditto subclipse.
2. Is there anyway of having the old software management tool back ? I just don’t see any advantages in this new tool and it doesn’t seem to work very well.
