Update: Scott just got back to me and let me know that 2.8 has full support for adding and deploying dependant projects in an EAP, so this is good news.

Scott or rkalla, could u explain how to translate a JBuilder project with your 2.8 beta of MyEclipse ?
For example, with an EJB project or a Web project.
Thanks in advance for this tutorial 😉 😉 😉

    logan,
Everyone is knee-deep in code right now and may not get back to you right away. I’d suggest taking a look a the tutorials here:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-16.html

To get an idea of how we structure things in MyEclipse and make use of the different tools. Then, taking the knowledge you have from JBuilder, figure out the most effective way to move it into MyEclipse.

The other problem is that most all of us are Eclipse people, so its very likley (I can say I’ve never…) used JBuilder enough in order to help you.

Personally, I’ve never used JBuilder. However, we do have a lot of users that have transitioned over. Anyone else that can give logan some insight?

    jomarca1,
Were you able to transition your project successfully? Maybe you could tell other users how you did it?
