    – System Setup ——————————-
    Operating System and version: WinXP Prof
    Eclipse version: 3.1.0
    Fresh Eclipse install (y/n): n
    MyEclipse version: 4.0.1

    – Message Body ——————————-

    From MyEclipse menu, I go to Window — Preferences — General — Keys. The setting I have there is:
    Scheme = Default
    Command Category = Edit
    Command Name = Find Next
    Command Assignments: When = Editing Text, Key Sequence = F3

    With this setting, F3 key doesn’t work in JSP files. Would you please help me set keys correctly, so that I can use F3 to do “Find Next” in JSP files?

    Thanks!

    xsun,
    You need to remove the default mapping and add a new mapping of F3 with the “When” of: Source Editor (com.ibm.sse.edit.ui.structuedTextEdi…) (the rest is cut off)

    Then F3 will work.
