My co-worker and I are collaborating on a UML document. I have imported the xmi successfully a number of times. After performing the import, I attempt to save the umr file. The operation ends with no errors, but the UMR file is still shown as unsaved in the eclipse editor window, and when I close and repoen the UMR, all of the imported classes are gone.
Is this a bug that should be logged?

This XMI file was exported from MyEclipse on windows and is being imported in MyEclipse on Linux… I’ll check to see if the XMI file is corrupt

The text of the XMI file is not corrupt, but the contents contained two definitions for the same Foundation.Core.DataType. Somehow when this was exported two versions of the same object.
