I’ve downloaded MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench 6.0 M1and the quickstarter guide from Educational Material. But the quickstarter guide refer previous version of MyEclipse. Then how can I get the documentation or tutorials for MyEclipse 6.0 M1?

I’ve tried MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench 6.0 M1, and all the functionnalities i used to use work fine.
It’s easy to install : i Just lauched the installer and clicked next. (i entered my subscription infos, and configured jdks and application servers as usual)
then i tried the myeclipse perspective, and deployed a web project; and all went fine.
But, il’ll be a good thing if we could have a tutorial with the new features of MyEclipse 6.0.

hi all
1 – use MyEclipse_5.5.1GA_E3.2.2_Installer but would the MyEclipse_6.0M1_E3.3 be a next update to it i.e why do we have GA and MI versions in the downloads?

2 – How do we know of the new quickstarts turorials for it once they are done?

I bought full version and I never get any new updates or tutorials or notification emails from MyEclipse !!. Should keep an eye always on the site every day or what?

The M1 is a milestone release which is still being tested and GA would be the final release (stable version). You will have to download MyEclipse 6.0 seprately since It works with Eclipse 3.3 and not Eclipse 3.2. All the future release of 6.X would be available as updates.

Iam using myeclipse 5.5

In that iam not able to find the Tomcat icons (tomcat start ,Tomcat Stop ,tomcat Restart Icon)

Iam not able to create the new Tomcat Project

But iam able to create the web Project and deploy it using tomcat Project..
