The uml is excellent, but I cannot present myeclipse as a rational app dev etc alternative because sequence diagrams are missing.

Keep in mind that sequence diagrams are _the_ most important diagram for shops doing any serious UML modeling (use case realisations etc).

Your in luck, the 4.1M1 release is just around the corner, literally. One of the new features is sequence diagrams for MyUML. Please, take note of the fact that this is a milestone build. The sequence diagrams will continue to improve until we hit 4.1 final.

We are in the final stages of QA right now. I don’t want to give a hard date, just in case we find a showstopper problem, we can take the time to fix it. But our last internal build was stable so I would imagine within the next few days.
