Jose.LoraMemberGood morning, Configuration Center is unable to connect to the remote site and I cannot get updates or make changes to my configuration. I am using MyEclipse 8.6 and my company do not use Proxies.
Any idea how can I configure MyEclipse so Configuration Center actually work?
Thanks

support-shaliniMemberJose.Lora,
Can you check if there is any firewall preventing the connection to remote site?
Jose.LoraMemberI have Windows Firewall and its settings are being managed by Symantec Endpoint Protection. I think I could request policy changes to the administrator. Do you have some instructions on what ports/protocols should I open?
Thanks
support-joyMemberJose.Lora,
You can ask them to allow the following sites :
1) http://www.genuitec.com/
2) http://www.poweredbypulse.com/
3) http://www.myeclipseide.com/
Jose.LoraMemberGood morning,
Thank you very much for your reply. Opening these sites from my browser works fine. Do I still need to go ahead and request the Firewall change or the fact that I can open the web sites from my browser mean the problem is somewhere else?
Thanks
support-shaliniMemberJose.Lora,
Can you check your browser connection settings?
Connection to http://eclipse.poweredbypulse.com/downloads/aux/eclipse-mirror/eclipse/updates/3.5/site.xml failed on Connection timed out: connect. Retry attempt 0 started
This is a network related issue. So kindly check with the network team about the firewall/proxy and ask them to do the needful.
Jose.LoraMemberGood morning, I tried from 4 different PCs in and out of our working network and I got the same message:
404 Not Found
The requested URL /downloads/aux/eclipse-mirror/eclipse/updates/3.5/site.xml was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at eclipse.poweredbypulse.com Port 80Is it possible that my Pulse installation is using the incorrect URLor port?
Thanks
support-joyMemberJose.Lora,
Can you copy and paste tracert to http://www.poweredbypulse.com, http://www.genuitec.com and http://www.myeclipseide.com?
The requested URL /downloads/aux/eclipse-mirror/eclipse/updates/3.5/site.xml was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at eclipse.poweredbypulse.com Port 80Can you explain what are you trying to do? Are you trying to add any plugin? Please elaborate.
Can you clarify if you are trying to update a software or add plugin using MyEclipse Configuration Center?
Can you please confirm if you are behind a proxy / firewall?
