I have a problem connected to DB. I do have MyEclipse 7.1 Environment. I tried to make the DB connection, selected Driver Template, Driver Name, Connection URL, User Name, Password added Driver JARs, during Test Driver a message display: (error while performing database Login with the proxy driver: unable to create connection. Check your URL). I did notice that My friend use the same MyEclipse 7.1, same DB name but different PC and it works fine for him:

I’m not familiar with Progress but I don’t see a driver template for it in my 7.1.1 install.

Like I said I’m flying blind here because I know nothing of Progress but are you sure the database server is running? Can you make a connection to it using some other tool?

    Hi Ray

I ‘m sure our database is running, I made a connection by using another PC and it works fine. the problem seems that nothing to do about DB but it lays MyEclipse. did you think it is MyEclipse?

    Thanks
