Invariably whenever I try to double click a jsp page for editing, there is no response from myeclipse ide. Some time it does open and able to edit.

Is there something I am doing it wrong?

Oops now not able to edit html file too !

java / xml – able to edit.

jsp / html – no

Sorry that you are running into this issue.

Can you answer some more questions for me ?

1) Can you share your build id from Help > About MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench > Build Id ? Paste it here.

2) How did you install MyEclipse ? Is it through Pulse / All-In-One installer ? Archived Update site?

3) Did you install any third party plugins ?

4)

jsp / html – no

Is it unresponsive when you double click on the html file?

5) Can you try opening the jsp file with MyEclipse JSP Editor instead of the MyEclipse Visual JSP Editor ? Do you see the same issue?

6) Start the IDE with -clean, switch to a new workspace, create a new project and check if the issue exists. If yes then copy paste the errors of interest logged in the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log here for me.
