geebeeMemberSo I publish the iOS app – iOS build 2601728 – Finished OK. The name is “Dial Number” – basically what you show in one of your demos.
I get the email in my iPhone, I click on the link for the installation url, click Install Now, I get the confirmation prompt, I click Install.
The gray icon is created and says “Installing” – then the caption on the still gray icon says “DialNumber” and it starts to download … as it’s almost through (80 percent or so), I get “Unable to Download ‘DialNumber'” with a Done or Retry option.
Why would this message come up? It seems the certificates and csr, mobioneprovision, etc are ok as the app is built and all that.
I can’t find any posts that would explain this message on my iPhone. I’m running iOs 4.1.
Any help would be appreciated.
support-michaelKeymasterHi,
Thanks for sharing your build info, especially your device iOS version (4.1). With the recent update to support iOS6, Apple increased the minimum iOS version to 4.3. Thus, iOS apps created by MobiOne App Center Builder will not install on devices with earlier version of iOS than 4.3. See this note http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3804
geebeeMemberI have the earlier installer saves, such as MobiOne_2.1.1_Installer.exe, so if I uninstall MobiOne completely and then downgrade to an earlier version, and install the aforementioned 2.1.1, will that let me do an over the air install on my iOS 4.1 device, or is that not an option? i.e., do all builds, no matter which MobiOne version, require 4.3 as the minimum?
I plan on upgrading my iOS on my iPhone but just need to get something out the door quickly as a proof of concept demo, so having the latest and greatest iOS on my iPhone is not something that is a prerequisite at this point, nor do I have the time to do an iOS upgrade at this point.

No, we are not able to maintain multiple App Center Build environments/hw.
geebeeMemberJust wanted to verify that installing on a device with IOS 4.3+ worked just fine.
