    Hi

When I try to open the Web Browser view, Eclipse tells me :

“Unable to open internal browser. Please check to see if your configured browser is supported by eclipse”

I have the following browser configurations :

Preferences>General>Web Browser : Use External Web browser – Mozilla
My Eclipse>Internet Tools>Internet Proxy: as per my browser’s proxy config which works OK
    My Eclipse>Internet Tools>Web Browser : Mozilla

I am running MyEclipse 4.0.1 on Eclipse 3.1. I have JDK1.5 on LINUX (fedora Core 4).

    Please advise.

    Cheers

    ben

    Ben,
You need to have a Mozilla build with gtk2 support so that it gels well with Eclipse-SWT & MyEclipse. Please look here for more info:

I’ve followed the instructions and still get the same problem – have you tested this procedure on Fedora Core 4? I found a /etc/gre.d/gre/conf file instead of the one you specified – changed that but still got the same problem – please advise…..

Can you show the contents of your /etc/gre.conf file? Also can you ensure that the directory pointed to by the gre.conf file contains the mozilla 1.6 installation? The directory pointed to by the gre.conf file should contain the mozilla 1.6 installation files, including the “chrome” directory.
