    I am running myEclipse 3.9.310 on a Mac OS 10. 4.2 with java 1.5

CSS documents opened with the myEclipse CSS editor cannot be saved. When I hit save, this is the error I receive:

    [ Save Failed:null ]

    Anyone else have this problem?

    Thanks.

    Jean-Charles,

The problem can likely be cleared by restarting eclipse with the -clean
commandline option (eclipse -clean). The Eclipse plugin manager likes
to try to cache everything, but doesn’t realize that it can’t do that
effectively on a large update. You’ll need to temporarily add the option
to the eclipse launch file (under Eclipse.App) on the Mac.

I don’t see a “launch” file in the eclipse.app package. I did launch eclipse via the terminal with the -clean option.

The result is that now I cannot save CSS files AND myEclipse asks for my registration everytime I launch eclipse ( with or without -clean)

Thanks for your help. Sorry to say I still need some more….

I’m having the same combo of problems, on Linux.

    MyEclipse Build ID: 20050808-4.0-Milestone-3
    Eclipse 3.1.0 build id I20050627-1435

I get the “save failed: null” and the frequent requests for my subscription info.

    Guys,

MyEclipse 4.0GA has been released. Please download a complete install (ugrade is NA for m3 to GA) and point your eclipse installation to that.

A saving issue with the editors was fixed in GA, so it should work for you just fine.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Best,
    Brian.

Actually it looks like the problem is with viPlugin, and still exists with 4.0GA. I’ll contact them. Thanks for your help!
