we9603MemberI am running MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench v7.5. I recently downloaded the Coldfusion 8 Extensions for Eclipse from the adobe website: http://www.adobe.com/support/coldfusion/downloads.html
I have setup the plugin according the adobe’s instructions. However I am not able to set Toggle Breakpoints. When I click on the line of code and select Toggle Breakpoints nothing happens. Do you provide asistance w/ that?
Thanks.
support-joyMemberwe9603,
Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. I am afraid MyEclipse doesn’t provide any intrinsic support for Coldfusion 8 Extensions. Please refer – http://myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-1.html
Having said that there are users who have successfully integrated 3rd party plugins to MyEclipse profiles. Can you list out the exact steps to add Coldfusion 8 extensions. I would also recommend you to cross-post on Adobe Coldfusion forums.
we9603MemberThe exacts steps I followed are documented here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/coldfusion/articles/debugger_print.html. I have also posted this question in the adobe coldfusion forum and I am currently waiting for a response.
support-joyMemberwe9603,
Thank you for the weblink. I am sorry, but I don’t see any download link for CF8-Extensions-for-Eclipse.zip, the link takes me to download for Coldfusion 9. Can you share the weblink to download the same. What am I missing here?
we9603MemberHere you can download the CF8 extensions for Eclipse:
This link is for the instructions:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/coldfusion/articles/debugger_print.html.Here is the link to download the extensions:Note that you will need to scroll down until you find the ColdFusion 8 Extensions for Eclipse. http://www.adobe.com/support/coldfusion/downloads.html
support-joyMemberwe9603,
Thank you for the details. Let me clarify again that ME doesn’t provide any intrinsic support for ColdFusion 8 Extensions for Eclipse. Having said that there are users who have successfully added 3rd party plugins to ME profiles.
If you download ColdFusion 8 Extensions for Eclipse. This will give you a .zip file. On un-zipping it will give you plugins, features and site.xml. Copy these to your [MyEclipse installation dir]/dropins folder and restart your MyEclipse IDE. You should be all set.
we9603MemberI understand. Thank you for reviewing. The issue was never loading the plugins was using them to debug. I will follow up w/ Adobe.
support-joyMemberwe9603,
