I am using MyEclipse 8.0 Version. When I am trying to connect to the CVS I am getting an error message of

Error Fetching resource list from repository.

Reason:
Unknown response received from cvs server.

While for the same setting I am able to check out the code in Unix through cvs command.

Can you copy paste you installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details?
Also, can you list out the settings you are using to connect to CVS?

There was some problem in the server configurations and they made some changes and now I am able to download the code.
