User installed JasperSoft Studio and Darkest Dark on top of Spring Tool Suite 3.9.4
New > Jasper Report, add a basic element and note that the text in the some of the fields are unreadable as they are dark on dark background.

P.S : Same problem in Eclipse Dark theme as well.
