IDE Package: Eclipse IDE for Java Developers
    IDE Version: 4.7.3
    OS: Linux Mint KDE 18.3

I have some troubles to read text when I go to some window e.g. Preferences->General->UI Responsiveness Monitoring or some “inactive” voice when I create a new class etc…

    My settings are:

    Workbench theme: Dark Blue
    Icon colors: Primary Colors
    Editor Theme: Eclipse Standard

I have tried all dark themes combinations but the problem persists.

    gianpiero,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. Thank you for the screenshots. It looks like the problem is related to the OS themes. I could not replicate the reported problems with Darkest Dark plugin in Windows OS.

From Linux Mint System Settings, go to Themes, click on the current Controls theme, select a different theme and check if the problems persist.

If you are seeing the problem with only specific Controls theme, then please list them to help us fix it for those themes.

Apologies for inconvenience caused. Thank you for reporting it.

The drop down arrows on the toolbar have very low contrast with the toolbar background using a dark theme, making them very difficult to see.
