Hi,

I have a paid subscription for MyEclipse for Spring 8.6 which is still valid. To upgrade to MyEclipse for Spring 9.0 do I have to uninstall 8.6, download and install 9.0 or can I upgrade from within the 8.6 IDE.

Secondly what happens to my licence data – is it picked up automatically or will I have to enter it again.

I presume all my workspaces will remain as is after the upgrade.

Because the majore eclipse version from 8.6 to 9.0 changed you will need to run a new install, although you can leave MyEclipse 8.6 in place as well if you like.
The license should be automatically picked up however you may be prompted to Register your license in 9.0.
