    Hello,

Myeclipse 2013 provides the struts2 library in version 2.1.1
We are using struts2 and also want to make use of the provided build-in libraries
but we cant since a number of security issues have emerged
    (see http://struts.apache.org/development/2.x/docs/security-bulletins.html)

When is it planned to upgrade / make more recient versions available
(struts 2.3.14.3 at the time of writing)?
What would you suggest us to do?

    Best regards

    f.drescher,

I have raised an Enhancement Request for the dev team to include Struts2 latest version.

As a workaround you can create a user library to include the struts 2.3.14.3 jar files. Go to Window > Preferences > Java > Build Path > User Libraries to create a new user library. Add the Struts 2.3.14.3 jars to the user library.

When adding the Struts capabilities to the project, you can select the User Libraries to add to the project’s build path instead of MyEclipse Libraries. For existing Struts 2.1 project, delete the MyEclipse Struts library from the build path and add the new user library.

Let us know if you see any issues.
