I previously had Eclipse 3.1 M4 with your 3.8.4 release.

What’s the best way to move my projects over to the latest 3.1 final with your 4.0 release?

1) Download Eclipse 3.1 GA and MyEclipse 4.0 M2 for Eclipse 3.1
2) Install them to new locations
3) Run Eclipse 3.1 with a new workspace

Use File > Import to import your existing projects from your old workspace.

yeah, but the import for some reason asks me to import it into existing project and wants me to specify the folder to import it to

Although odd, this *is* the Eclipse import mechanism, so I don’t have anything else for you besides “sorry, but do it anyway”.

You can try and use your existing workspace, but that’s usually not a good idea.

Sorry, I got it working now. The correct option I at first failed to choose was Import Existing Projects into Workspace.
