    Hi,

I am facing a critical problem in my project that I need to solve quick to meet my deadline. I really appreciate if someone can help me with the following problem.

I have been looking but I cannot find demonstration on how to generate a Web Service Client from a **STATIC** WSDL file. I do not have the web service ready for me to invoke, but I am given a WSDL file.

The demo in the tutorial requires a web service to communicate with in order to generate the stub. Is there a way to do it without a web service running?

    My environment is:
    Windows XP Pro
    MyEclipse Workbench 5.0.0
    Eclipse 3.2.0.v2006
    JST 1.5.0.v2006

Specifically, my app server is WebLogic 9.2, I also use tbe JDK that is bundled within the BEA installation.

    Lots of thanks…

I’m sorry we missed your post. Do try and post WS questions in the Web Services forum.

You can have a look at our tutorial here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/images/tutorials/demos/terra_server_client/tutorial.html
You need to point the client wizard to the WSDL file you have on your file system.

I would advise an upgrade to version 5.1.0 GA as well, a separate client generation wizard was added in 5.1GA and is N/A in 5.0.
    Hope this helps.

I have installed 5.1.0 GA now. Now I go back to try the tools supplied by BEA and is able to generate a web service client that can run on the app server. Thank you for your help…
