It would be great if xdoclet-build.xml would use ant variables to define the paths to the JDK, the jars in the WEB-INF/lib, the tomcat dir and the Myeclipse instalation. Beside the fact that it looks messy like this, it makes it much harder to share the build file with other people. Right now I have to manually maintain the build file used for nightly builds.

I would request an extension to this… I would like these variables to be per deployment. It would also be nice if variables could be grouped together and extended if they are common to multiple deployments.
