I updated Angular from 5 to 8. I also updated all of my Eclipse plugins. I was using Web Eclipse, and all worked fine. But CodeMix is not making import file suggestions. For example, if in a TS constructor, I type in private router: Router I’m not getting a popup of import suggestions.

How to get this working again?

    Thanks!

Sorry to hear you’re having issues getting off the ground with CodeMix. Would it be possible for you to start a live chat session so we can sort out the issue live? Help > CodeMix > Live Chat.

    1) If not, can you please tell us what version of Eclipse you’re using and what version of CodeMix you’ve updated to? See Preferences > CodeMix for the CodeMix version.
    2) Please confirm that you’re opening the file in the CodeMix ts editor. Right click the file and choose Open With, it should have TypeScript :: CodeMix selected.
    3) Can you please send us the workspace error log? You can find it at [workspace_location]/.metadata/.log

    Thanks!

Problem solved by CodeMix during chat session. I was using WebEclipse for years, but when I updated plugins, I chose CodeMix. The behavior of CodeMix is different than WebEclipse. To get the file suggestions, you must click on the bulb along the left edge of the CodeMix editor window, the file suggestions will appear. Works fine.
