Hi. I intend to use the UML features of MyEclipse 4.1GA but I was wondering what use is putting all of the information (like documentation, etc) if I cannot print this or at least generate something with it. Is there any way I can generate printed documentation from the information in the UML model?
Do you mean printing out the information when the diagrams are printed, like an annotation? or something else? We use the info under the documentation tab to generate javadoc comments (Only for Class Diagram – Code Generation). This was added in 4.1.1 IIRC.
Kapil, I mean taking a UMR and saying print and expect to have all the information entered (in documentation tab, or any other) print appropriately on 8.5×11 paper then have the ability to give that to a designer or client for review.
I see, we dont have that functionality built in. Do you think “notes” will work for you? Or are you looking for something like a line by line listing of the information?
