Although I think this had originally been slated to be in the current release, but had been moved back for some reason, I’d like to reiterate my preference for this feature to be included as soon as possible:

    – Add a Java project to an Ear to be deployed as a Jar inside the Ear.

Having evaluated Enterprise Workbench, I really like how it’s shaping up and I’ll move away from WSAD 5 whenever this feature becomes available. I’ll try and convince my colleagues at work too 🙂

Trust me, this one didn’t get dropped. It just got nudged past the GA release to add in stuff like EJB wizards and XDoclet support. It’s the very next thing to add to the project model and will be showing up in a service release as soon as we can get it built, tested, and packaged.

Our consultants have been clammoring for this feature too, so it there is a lot of internal pressure to get it done.

This thread is almost two years old. Was this feature ever implemented? I still do not see a way to add a Java project to an Enterprise project.
