    Hi:
    There is a number of listing of the problems of Eclipse (not myEclipse) and the validation of xml files using schemas. In particular the following describes a method of making the xsd file available to the xml validation:

    However, this describes a path for Eclipse that seems to have no parallel in MyEclipse, namely,
    Preferences->Web and XML” -> “XML Catalog”

    The question the are:
    …Can you do anything about the errors that show up?

    Bob,
    Windows > Prefs > MyEclipse > Files and Editors > XML > XML Catalog should be parallel to the Eclipse path mentioned above.

    Thanks. The failure to vaildate does not affect the operation but it leaves a error marker that seems to be out of place and raises questions in that there is not a clean build.

    This works beautifully. Keep it in mind if you get complaints about the validation of Spring application context files.
