Is there a way to turn off the validation why typing in the html editor? Basically I’ll like to use the html editor with no validation at all. We use xhtml with custom xml tags and the validator doesn’t like them and it slows the edit way down as it trying to parse my page and can’t find all these tags.

Ben,
The reconciler (real-time) currently doesn’t have a mechanism by which you can turn it off. I’m not sure how we forgot about this, but I’ll file it as an enhancement so we can get it in soon 😉
