How can I determine whether I’m running Eclipse 3.0.M3 or 3.0.M4. I looked at the Help->about but the only thing I see that would tell me is the build number and I do not know what the build number(s) are for the 3.0.M4 release.

    Thanks,
    J.D.

    Scott,

Thanks for the reply. I am getting a JBOSS error when running my J2EE application in MyEclipse 3.6.x. I wondered if you guys had seen this, it is related to Log4J initialization within JBOSS. It very well could be a JBOSS issue but wanted to run it by you guys in the off chance you’d seen it.

Error Msg displayed in Console — Note: The application still runs fine.

    Failed to initalize pulgin: org.jboss.logging.Log4jLoggerPlugin@307bdfe

Typically stuff like this is caused by a missing properties file in the project or lack of specifying a needed -D option on server startup. If JBoss starts correctly from the commandline, it’s usually a matter of identifying where it was customized in this regard since we’ve never seen this problem with an “out of the box” JBoss configuration. Actually, I search the forums and we’ve apparently never seen it at all. Anyone else know what causes this?

When you run it down, will you post the resolution so it will become part of the knowledge base?

Of course. I haven’t had much time to look into it because of a big delivery on our project, but I will get to it eventually and post my findings. It is probably some configuration issue.
